Access to online resources

The ANU Library website provides all enrolled ANU students with remote access to a full range of electronic resources, including databases, journal articles, and ebooks:

  • SuperSearch provides a single search across the Library collection — including journal and newspaper articles; books; book chapters; book reviews; dissertations and electronic resources such as websites and free online journals.
  • The Library Catalogue contains all items and subscriptions, including print journals and e-books, owned or licensed by the Library.
  • Full text journals and newspaper titles are available through the Library in electronic form.
  • E-resources and databases are electronic information repositories that can include collections of electronic journals and books; indexes; or multimedia publications.
  • Subject guides are available on broad range of disciplines.
  • How to guides will help you find resources and improve your research and study skills.

Off-campus borrowing

Eligible ANU students living across Australia and overseas can request items such as books and other physical resources, copies of chapters, journal articles and other materials through the off-campus borrowing service.

Open access materials

There is a wealth of openly accessible and high scholarly quality books available from the ANU Press and the ANU Open Research repository that are able to be accessed from anywhere around the world.

Reference consultations

Students can find contact information for ANU Library staff on the Library website, including subject specialists for assistance with your area of study.
